The MYL34S Series of transient surgesuppressors are industrial high-energy Metal-OxideVaristors (MOVs). They are designed to provide surgesuppression in the AC mains outdoor and service entranceenvironment (distribution panels) of buildings. Applicationsalso include industrial heavy motors, controls, and powersupplies such as used in the oil-drilling, mining, andtransportation fields, including HVAC and motor/generatorapplications.The MYL34S Series provides rigid terminals for throughhole solder mounting on printed circuit boards, therebyeliminating the need for screw mounting. The MYL34S Series has the same rigid through-hole terminals as the MYL34S with the addition of mounting holes for bolt-downmounting and longer terminals to allow for additionalmounting flexibility. The HG34 has formed feet withmounting holes for vertical bolt-down mounting.
Application
The 34S Series of transient surge suppressors are industrial high-energy Metal-Oxide Varistors (MOVs).
They are designed to proide surge suppression in the AC mains outdoor and service entrance environment (distribution panels) of buildings.
34S applications also include industrial heavy motors, controls, and power supplies such as used in the oil-drilling, mining, and transportation fields, including HVAC and motor/generator applications.
